Everyday at interviews across the globe, there are applicants destroying their careers before they ever get started. By saying something wrong, dressing inappropriately, not being prepared with paperwork and so many other mistakes, pilots weed themselves out without even knowing it. Prior to any interview, you should be made aware of the do’s and don’ts of aviation interviews. There are too many pilots who have left interviews feeling good about their technical or simulator performance only to be surprised with a rejection from the company. In many cases, they were unaware that actions or words at the wrong time were the cause of the failure. Would you suspect that chewing gum could keep you from the job you want most? It can. Be sure to study interview etiquette prior to your opportunity. |
