Airline Interview Preparation is one of the most significant courses you’ll enroll in during your aviation career. This class will assist you in securing a position with the employer of your choice more than any other class you have taken so far. Our instructors have been involved in the aviation industry for over three decades and have taught interview preparation for nearly fifteen years (see bios) . Your logbook is more than just a record of your experience. The way flights are logged and how your book appears reveals quite a bit about a pilot. Sloppy pages with multiple colors or numerous corrections cause an interviewer to question your professionalism. In addition, a high number of pilots come to their interview with errors that are violations of the FAR’s. As airline interviewers can attest, many applicants are not hired due to these problems. Most of the time, they were not even aware of these and could have fixed them prior had they known. We will look over your log books and help you identify any entries that will preclude you from being successful. |

This is one of the most overlooked aspects of the interview. In an environment as competitive as Aviation, you must present yourself with a strong resume or you may never get the opportunity to prove your talents and abilities as a great pilot. Simply throwing some information into a standard word template will not set you apart from the hundreds of applicants seeking the same position. This class will cover the correct ways to construct a quality resume and introduce you to common mistakes applicants make. |

Human resource is perhaps the most important part of any interview, yet most overlooked. A stellar performance in this area can make up for marginal performances elsewhere. Interviewers agree that a pilot can make real strides toward a positive outcome with a strong performance here. Sadly so many applicants assume this phase is simply a formality and put no effort into it. Such a philosophy is often detrimental. You will both enjoy our approach to human resource and find it to be a critical part of your success. If you have interviewed before and thought you did well but were rejected anyway, this phase was likely your downfall. Diamond Flight Center’s course offers the best human resource instruction as is evidenced by the feedback we receive from applicants and employers. While that may be a strong statement to make, we realize the importance of human resource and what it can do for or against you in an interview. You must be exceptional in this area. |
